On a scorchingly hot Thursday, 36 ladies – including guests from Hythe, Hawkhurst and Hastings – gathered at Rye LTC for some gently competitive tennis on the Club’s immaculate grass courts. Thanks to Adam for the superb preparation. The standard of tennis was high despite the heat and the morning was rounded off by a delicious lunch in the clubhouse. Sarah Walsh and Mel Baynton-Perret were the winners of Group 1 for the second year running, Claire Myatt and Yvette Brotherton won group 2 and Vicky Dyer and Rachel Dunn came through victorious in group 3. Many thanks to Ellie Cochrane and her team for organising another successful Ladies Day.
