It was a busy Sunday on the padel courts as we trialled a new format for our latest Mexicano tournament. Each group had eight players, with everyone playing seven matches in 90 minutes and no gaps between games. The result was plenty of fast-paced padel and a great atmosphere throughout the day.
Congratulations to Dave Cullen, who topped the first group, and Claire Myatt, who won the second. Honours were shared by Renee and Paul Hacking in the final group.
A big thank you to Sally for organising the groups, and to everyone who helped on the day. These tournaments rely on our volunteers, and we’d love to have more members involved. If you’d like to lend a hand at a future event, please get in touch.
