Garden Party Raises Over £1,300 for the Poole Field Development

Members of Rye Lawn Tennis Club came together on the longest day of the year for a fantastic fundraising afternoon in support of the Poole Field Development.

Hosted in the beautiful garden of Sally and Richard, the event was packed with activities for all ages, including sporting challenges, games, a delicious BBQ prepared by Tom Meyer and his team, homemade ice creams, cakes, refreshments, a raffle and plenty of opportunities to catch up with fellow members.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, donated prizes, bought raffle tickets and supported the various stalls and activities, the event raised over £1,300 towards the Poole Field Development.

A huge thank you goes to Sally and Richard for opening their home and gardens and for the enormous amount of work involved in organising such a successful day. We’d also like to thank Tom Meyer and everyone who helped with the BBQ, bar, games, raffle, cake sales, plant stall and all the many jobs behind the scenes that made the afternoon such a success.

The feedback from members has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as a wonderful afternoon filled with great food, fun activities, laughter and fantastic company.
