The Wealden League – Rye Mixed Team Results

We have now completed all of our 22 matches for the 2025-26 Season.

It has been a busy year having played two teams in the Wealden League for the first time. Our first team who had been promoted to Division 1, played 10 matches in total, 5 home matches last summer and 5 away matches over the winter.

There were some very close games, so much so that 5 of them resulted in a draw, we won 3 and lost 2. At the end of last Summer, the half way point, we were sitting at the top of the division but The Green pulled ahead in the last two fixtures, it was very close between the top three clubs. The Green 1 came first, Amherst 1 came second and Rye 1 came in a respectable third.

Our second team, played 12 matches in total, 6 home and 6 away, we successfully won 5, drew 3 and lost 4, also finishing in third place out of 7 teams. A big thank you to all our players in both teams. It was great to have had some new players join the squad, now we have a larger pool of players to call on for the 2026/2027 season.
