Another beautiful sunny Rye Sunday saw 32 keen padel players enter into the Mexicano spirit for a morning of great fun and good padel. It was really nice to see a mixture of familiar faces and new members and it is a perfect way to get to get to know your fellow players.
Both groups were very tightly contested, with joint runners up Virginia and Tom in the first session and Annie and Henry sharing the top spot. In the second group again only 3 points separated the top 3 with Adam S, then Jo and Reid claiming top spot (with his 6 year old coach on the sidelines).
Thanks to all who signed up and to all our helpers and refreshment providers. It continues to show what a great atmosphere we have here at Rye. We now look forward to the club women’s and men’s tournaments on 4 and 11 October so do sign up (in your pairs this time).
