We’re excited to announce the Rye Annual Tennis Tournament, taking place from Friday, 1st August to Monday, 4th August! With 11 competitions, including handicap events and A and B sections in most draws, players of all levels are welcome. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started, there’s a category for you—don’t hesitate to enter!
For those who prefer to watch, we encourage you to come along and enjoy the atmosphere. The bar will be open, and there will be plenty of exciting matches to watch, including the finals and some semi-finals on Monday. Expect to see some top-notch tennis and support the club as we celebrate this highlight of the season.
Whether you’re playing or spectating, we look forward to seeing you at the tournament!
All entrants must provide full details of their email addresses, mobile phone numbers and standard of play.
If you require a partner for a given event, please let us know and we will do our best to find you one.
Anyone in the Men’s or Ladies’ Level Singles who wishes to find out whether he or she is on the 11am or 11.45am list should email jej@jempsons.co.uk – but not before Wednesday 30.07.25.
Ladies may enter 5 events, but gentlemen only 4.
If any event is oversubscribed, entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
Contrary to what is shown on the LTA application form, we regret that refunds cannot be made after the closing date for entries. The costs of hosting thistournament are too high for the Club to be able to swallow them in the unforeseen event of the weather or some other outside occurrence preventing play.
If you are having difficulties entering via the LTA platform, please ring or email Tanya Mcculley – 07437 463350 or tanyamcculley2003@gmail.com.
It is the responsibility of competitors to find out when they are due to play. They may be disqualified if not at the Ground at the start time.
Competitors are reminded that it is a Club ruling that clothing on court be almost entirely WHITE and are asked to conform to that ruling.
White clothing may be purchased at the Club.
Car Parking by the courts is £15 per day, £30 for 3 days. There is free parking available in the adjoining field. Please do not park on the road.
