Last Sunday, Rye Lawn Tennis Club hosted an exciting squash match against Biddenden. Known for their high-caliber players, Biddenden has an excellent reputation, which made this friendly rivalry all the more thrilling.
After an intense lineup of 11 matches, Rye emerged victorious, securing a score of 322 points to Biddenden’s 260. This impressive achievement highlights the commitment and skill of our squash players across all levels.
The event was made even more special by the presence of family and friends who packed the balcony to cheer on the teams. The friendly atmosphere continued well into the evening as both teams gathered at our clubhouse bar—a space that received many compliments from our visitors from Biddenden. Over drinks and a delicious spread, players from both sides celebrated the day’s matches with camaraderie and good sportsmanship.
A big thank you to everyone who played, supported, and helped make the event a memorable one. We look forward to hosting Biddenden again for a rematch in the coming year!
