Saturday night was an evening of laughter, competition, and brain-teasing fun at Rye Lawn Tennis Club’s much-anticipated Quiz Night.
The atmosphere was electric as 9 eager teams gathered to test their trivia knowledge, each hoping to dethrone the reigning champions, Quizzee Rascals, captained by Tom.
The event saw some fierce competition, with rounds covering a variety of topics designed to challenge and entertain. Ultimately, the contest boiled down to a nail-biting tiebreaker between the teams Mixed Bag and Secret Seven. It was David H. who clinched the win for Secret Seven, correctly naming the highest pub in England—a moment that brought cheers and applause from everyone present.
A huge thank you goes out to our fantastic quiz master, CJ, who once again hosted with flair and enthusiasm. Special thanks also to Clare and Claire for their invaluable assistance behind the scenes. They not only provided tricky questions but also worked behind the bar, serving a great selection of local brews, including beers from Shepherd Neame and wines from Oxney Organic Estate, ensuring everyone had a great time throughout the evening.
