Half Term Tennis Camp – What a Week! 🎾
We had a fantastic two days at our Half Term Camp, with 20 children taking part in an action-packed programme…
With glitter balls and disco lights, Jane A and her team brought a heady mix of Seventies disco and Greek Taverna to the clubhouse on Saturday 28th March.
There were flares and sequins galore as guests tucked in to the authentic selection of Greek mezze, including delicious home-made spanakopita and a selection of dips and breads. The soundtrack to the evening was ABBA through the ages, mixed with clips from Mamma Mia and even a glimpse of Zorba the Greek and Demis Roussos – no clichés were left unturned as guests polished off their Prosecco and hit the dance floor.
It was agreed by all that the team (particular shout-out to Jo, Mags, Jackie and Sally) had done an amazing job transforming the clubhouse and laying on a great spread for the 60 guests, with profits going to the Poole Field Fund.
Thanks to all who supported this great night and we can now look forward to Saturday 11th April when quiz master Phil “the Riddler” Harper will be in charge.
